Another Smooth Shuttle Ride Home

Love taking advantage of the free shuttle to and from work. Great view from the front. 

Talked to the driver. He used to own a company that imported/exported photocopier machines to Asia. After that didn't work out his friend needed help with driving charter buses. He got trained and now drives for corporate clients. He has a couple shifts a day and enjoys his work.

I Killed Gordan

Yesterday my wife told me Gordan died and that it was all my fault. I didn't believe it at first, but it's true.

Gordan is the name given to our 10 cent fish that was suppose to reward our toddler son for being a good older brother to our newborn daughter. Ironically, the name was given to Gordan after he died.

So it appears when I changed the water, I did it incorrectly. I'm suppose to just change out 20% of it and to also use bottled water. I changed 100% of the water and used faucet water. Ok, my mistake. I'll know for next time. The good news is that my son doesn't care at all about the fish. He seems to only like fish in fish tanks/aquariums.

Free Bread for Today

There's free bread for a year at Boudin's grand opening in Cupertino if you're the first 100 in line tomorrow. That's not gonna happen for me.

But today at Sunnyvale's Boudin, they couldn't find where I was sitting for awhile. My lunch wasn't delivered until 10 minutes after my coworkers got there's.

So as a nice gesture, they hooked me up with free french bread.

Apparently, Philz does weddings and other venues/private events as well. I'm impressed.

Working from bus. Love it. I'm grateful for the free shuttle service that my company provides to and from work. Onboard wifi helps me stay productive or allows me to surf the web when I'm not sleeping during the ride.
